Thelma, the Singing Housekeeper

Thelma Paumboy grew up in the Philippines in a family where everybody sang, so perhaps it’s not surprising that the housekeeper at the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in San Francisco brings her passion for singing to work. Throughout the day, Thelma serenades patients, takes requests, and brightens the day of dozens of patients and their families.
