Marching with Pride

San Francisco’s recent LGBT Pride Parade was also a celebration of the recent Supreme Court decision guaranteeing the right to same-sex marriage.

More than 1,000 Kaiser Permanente employees, physicians, friends, and family members came together for the June 28 San Francisco LGBT Pride Parade. The Kaiser Permanente contingent wore T-shirts proclaiming “strength in diversity” and marched for the first time with the Golden State Warriors, this year’s NBA champions. (Kaiser Permanente has been a longtime partner of the Warriors and is the first official health care partner of the NBA.)
