The events also remind employees of the well-being resources available in each Kaiser Permanente service area, such as the Live Well & Thrive podcast, which recognizes the hard work, dedication, and diversity of the Northern California Kaiser Permanente team.
The celebrations began last month at Santa Rosa, South Sacramento, and Roseville medical centers.
The next is scheduled for this fall at the Oakland Medical Center. Others are scheduled throughout the year, so be on the lookout for local announcements, said Michelle Hillyer, director of Internal Communications, Executive Communications and Special Projects.
“The purpose of these events is twofold,” said Hillyer, “One is to help employees be more aware of the well-being resources available to them, and the other is to celebrate all the work they’re doing and to demonstrate some gratitude.”

I had an opt Appt on Wed Oct. 4 with Dr Harris. Vallejo Clinic 9:30 AM….Absolutely flawless experience. Main floor check-in, Dr Harris called me in from waiting area at 9:15 and performed all the necessary process for eye inoculations in both eyes. Amazing health care service. But, no surprise, as that is the usual practice in Ophthalmology. Great staff and great practice. Superb care always at Kaiser. Thanks to ALL!
