Waste to Fashion Show highlights employees’ spirit and commitment to a greener Earth.

The April 21 downtown Oakland fashion show set to music was hosted by the organization’s Environmental Stewardship and judged by its executives. It demonstrated to a large crowd that going green is red hot throughout the organization, where by reprocessing, reusing, donating, or recycling used equipment and supplies, Kaiser Permanente diverts more than 300,000 pounds of waste from landfills each year. Excluding construction and demolition, that is approximately 38 percent of the organization’s total waste!

  1. Drawing whimsical attention to the need to protect our Mother. Good stuff. Can I just say the gentleman in the bathing attire deserves Honorable Mention.

  2. Great idea. Loved the creativity. Please slow down the slideshow so we can see more details in the clothing.
