Thanking Volunteers All Month Long

Kaiser Permanente volunteers across the region donate 10,000 hours.

National Volunteer Week runs from April 12 through April 18, but Kaiser Permanente Northern California is celebrating physician and employee volunteers all month long. Our community programs and volunteers play an essential role in our mission to improve community health. Last year hundreds of volunteers across the region gave more than 10,000 hours supporting hundreds of organizations.

Watch the inspiring video below to see how Kaiser Permanente takes a unique approach in pairing financial support with volunteers, and the expertise of our organization to change the odds for youth who are at high risk for violence and seniors who might not otherwise get the services they need.

Better yet, take a moment to get involved and sign up on kpcares.org, the volunteer website that can help you find and post volunteer projects, and track your volunteer contributions. If you volunteer during April and participate in regional Twitter activities to recognize Kaiser Permanente volunteers, you could win a $2,000 donation for an eligible nonprofit of your choice!
