Sharing the Benefits of the Great Outdoors

Kaiser Permanente invests in organizations that are helping people discover the physical and mental benefits of enjoying parks.

About 150 people recently gathered at Coyote Hills Regional Park in Fremont for one of the East Bay Regional Park District’s Multicultural Wellness Walks. Kaiser Permanente financially supports the wellness walks because they give people who might not otherwise visit parks a chance to enjoy the physical and mental benefits of being active outdoors.

  1. Also want to thank Kaiser for the East Bay Regional Park District Trails Challenge. Each year EBRPD provides a list of trails at different parks that are easy, moderate, or challenging to hike.

  2. This is great. Will Kaiser be doing something like this in other areas like Sacramento?

    1. Alisha,
Thanks for your comment and question. Kaiser Permanente supports a number of different walking programs throughout the Northern California Region, including the Sacramento area. Contact your local Public Affairs Department to learn more.
