Mission Bay Sports Medicine Center Now Open

World-class sports medicine care for recreational and everyday athletes in the Bay Area has arrived in San Francisco with the opening of the 16,000-square-foot Kaiser Permanente Mission Bay Sports Medicine Center.

Highly trained clinicians offer members comprehensive sports medicine care, physical therapy, and concussion care with the latest in diagnostic, evaluation, and rehabilitation equipment. The facility includes a 7,000-square-foot gym, 9 physical therapy rooms, 8 exam rooms, and 4 concussion-testing stations.

The center opened July 29 and is located at 1600 Owens Street in San Francisco. Kaiser Permanente also operates a state-of-the-art Sports Medicine Center in Sacramento, which opened in 2016, and a sports medicine facility in Elk Grove.

  1. I love that last comment … “encouraging exercise as medicine.”
Exercise, sports, physical activity … they are healing agents for our mind, soul and body. It’s a package deal.

So glad to see Kaiser understands this. Thank you!
