When it comes to workplace safety, Kaiser Permanente Northern California has 5 of the 6 top hospitals within the organization. How do they do it?

June is National Safety Month, a good time to consider that in 2016 nearly 3 million people across the United States reported being injured on the job. Workplace injury rates have been falling steadily over the years, but employers such as Kaiser Permanente are working to bring the rate as low as possible.

Five Kaiser Permanente Northern California hospitals are industry leaders in workplace safety. Kaiser Permanente Fresno has a strong and consistent record of keeping its rate of workplace injuries low. In the short video above, see 5 ways the hospital keeps its physicians and employees safe.

  1. I was part of Fresno team for over 16 1/2 years before relocating to SCH Kaiser 2yrs ago. I was and now am very proud of the Fresno Workplace Safety team. It’s nice to see all the teamwork with the employees and management is still stronger then ever. Great success story. Good job to all of the staff, especially to Shola and James.
