Our History. Our Health. That was the theme of the Kaiser Permanente Black History Month Health Fair February 29 at the Fabiola Medical Offices in Oakland. Pictured, Patrick Dawkins, MD, left, giving information at the Women’s Health booth during the fair.
The fair highlighted the rich and diverse African American history and included a cooking demonstration, free blood pressure and blood sugar screenings, and booths on social work, women’s health, mental health, and other important issues that affect African American health.
