Getting patient back to the mountains

Watch how a surgeon at the Kaiser Permanente Redwood City Medical Center connected with a patient who hurt her knee while training for a mountain climb.

Kaiser Permanente member Kirsten Alexis shared her care experience after she tore her meniscus in early 2023. Watch the video to learn how she was thankful to connect with her doctor, David Bradley, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at the Redwood City Medical Center.

Alexis is currently in recovery after her surgery with Dr. Bradley and hopes to get back to mountaineering later this year.
