Building Healthy Communities

Last year Kaiser Permanente invested more than $1 billion to help meet the most pressing health needs in Northern California communities.

Kaiser Permanente knows that promoting healthy communities is much more than assisting people to get access to high-quality health care. It’s also helping people to eat better and move more as part of daily life, supporting the expansion of mental health services in the community, investing in the growth of a highly skilled, diverse heath care workforce, and much more.

The new online Building Healthy Communities report uses colorful images, compelling articles, brief videos, and telling statistics to share the story of Kaiser Permanente’s work in Northern California’s communities. It also includes a “What’s Happening Now” section that highlights some of Kaiser Permanente’s most recent investments.

Click on the communities section in the top right corner of the report to read about Kaiser Permanente’s investments where you live or work, then scroll down to the bottom of the report to share this news with friends and neighbors.
